Preferences and browsing technologies
This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies Marabú Madrid uses, what they do, who operates them and how you can accept, reject or change your choice.

1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files or identifiers that a website may store or read on a person’s device. They can remember a language, keep a site secure, retain a privacy choice or measure website use.
In this policy, “cookies” also covers local storage, pixels, tags and similar identifiers when they perform an equivalent function.

3. Cookie categories
3.1 Necessary cookies and cookieless technical measurement
These are required for the website, security or a function explicitly requested by the user. The Google Analytics 4 tag also always loads with analytics_storage=denied to communicate consent state and perform cookieless measurement. This does not create or read _ga cookies and does not make analytics cookies necessary.
3.2 Preference cookies
These remember choices such as language. When the user directly selects the preference and the cookie is used only for that purpose, it is treated as necessary for the requested function.
3.3 Optional analytics cookies
The _ga and _ga_* analytics cookies are optional. When “Analytics cookies” is accepted, they enable fuller measurement of visits, sessions and navigation through Google Analytics 4. When they are not accepted, the technical tag remains loaded with analytics_storage=denied, does not create or read analytics cookies, and may send consent signals and cookieless measurements.
3.4 Marketing cookies
This site should not currently activate behavioural advertising, remarketing or ad-personalisation cookies. If such a tool is introduced, the policy, consent panel and technical blocking must be updated before activation.
3.5 Third-party cookies
These are operated by an external provider, such as Google, after Analytics or a map is activated. Names and durations may vary by service, browser, region, account and provider updates.
4. Cookies used or required by the approved setup
This table reflects the production configuration that should be maintained. It must be verified with a clean live scan after any change to plugins, tags, maps, videos, social functions or analytics.

Important: the consent-cookie name must exactly match the name used by the consent manager. If a plugin uses a different name, update this table before publication.
5. Consent and settings
The first visit must show three visible and equivalent choices:
- Reject: keeps only necessary cookies.
- Settings: enables granular category choices.
- Accept: enables the selected non-essential categories.
Continuing to browse, closing the banner, inactivity and pre-ticked boxes are not consent. Rejecting must be as easy as accepting.
Cookieless technical measurement remains active. Analytics cookies and non-essential external content remain blocked until a positive action. The Google tag loads with analytics storage denied to communicate consent state and send cookieless measurements. The choice is stored for 12 months, unless a material change requires renewed consent earlier.
A permanent “Manage cookies” link must be available in the footer so consent can be changed or withdrawn at any time.

6. Maps and external services
Google Maps should initially appear as a local placeholder with no connection to Google. The iframe should load only after the user accepts external content or clicks a button clearly stating that Google will be contacted.
Loading the map will connect your browser to Google. Google may receive technical data and use cookies under its own policies.
Links to WhatsApp, Google Maps or social networks do not by themselves set cookies on this domain before the click, but opening them takes the user to a third-party service.
Before adding YouTube, advertising pixels, Meta Pixel, Google Ads, external chat or another technology, block it before consent and update this policy.
7. Browser controls
You may also delete or block cookies through your browser. Blocking every cookie may prevent some technical functions, such as remembering language or retaining your privacy choice. Rejecting analytics must not prevent access to essential content or forms.
8. Policy updates
We will review this policy when providers, purposes, plugins, cookies or legal requirements change. The table should be periodically checked in a clean logged-out session, before and after each category is accepted, on desktop and mobile.
